Coffee Analysts delivers timely and comprehensive reports. Our general turn-around time is less than a week because we know there isn’t time to waste. And, in addition to providing you statistical, mathematical and sensorial reports, we also help our customers solve problems. For example, if packaging is causing loss of quality we know how to advise you to fix it.
It is important that the customer understand the results of testing. A CA report typically follows the following format:
- Statement of purpose of testing
- Background — previous research done on the issue, definition of
- terms, other information that will be needed in the interpretation of results
- Methods used in testing, including when samples were received, their disposition, qualifications of panelists, methods of analysis, etc.
- Results of testing — data developed as the result of testing, usually in spreadsheet form
- Analysis of results — interpretation, statistical analysis for significance, charts, trends, patterns, etc.
- Conclusion — what was found as the result of testing in terms of the statement of purpose
Analysis of results can occur in terms of individual samples, sets of samples, or sets of samples over time.
